Endeavor Air is Delta's only wholly-owned regional carrier — a Minneapolis-headquartered subsidiary flying an all-CRJ fleet (roughly 145 aircraft, the world's largest CRJ-900 operator) as Delta Connection across the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean. For flight attendant candidates, Endeavor's pitch is proximity to Delta: Delta branding in the cabin, Delta-network standby travel, and — historically — a company-published Delta Pathway program for flight attendants that this site can no longer confirm is live.
Do not sell the Pathway as a live Delta on-ramp. Endeavor's own Pathway page (as archived) describes a fast-pass: qualifying Endeavor FAs — eligible "top performers in customer service" meeting longevity, credit-hour, and performance criteria — would skip Delta's initial application review, talent assessment, virtual job tryout, and virtual interview, and begin the Delta hiring process directly at Delta's Event Day in Atlanta, with optional interview-skills coaching from Endeavor. But candidates at an August 2025 Minneapolis hiring event report being told directly by Endeavor staff that the Pathway had been discontinued — "we can't get into Delta unless Delta is hiring on their website." Treat Pathway as a past program: candidates report it discontinued as of late 2025, and no confirmation of it restarting has surfaced since. Verify current status with your recruiter at your hiring event before repeating any Pathway claim. The pilots' guaranteed flow-through (CAP) is a different program for a different workgroup — never conflate the two, and never conflate either with a live Pathway.
The second must-know fact is the pay reality. Endeavor markets an "industry-leading compensation package in the regional industry," but its own compensation page states: "The average estimated annual salary for a first-year flight attendant is $28,000." That company-published $28k figure is the honest anchor — mid-pack regional money, below SkyWest's start rate and far below Delta mainline's roughly $45,000–60,000 first year. Treat the "industry-leading" line as marketing framing, not a comparison you can bank.
Baseline requirements per job-posting text surfaced August 2026 (matching the Nov 2025 qualifications refresh — verify the official image before relying on exact wording): at least 21, high-school diploma or GED, one year of previous customer service experience required (a harder line than Delta mainline, which merely prefers it), legal right to work in the U.S., and a passport valid for all Endeavor destinations. No height range or reach-inch spec was published for Endeavor as of this research pass — do not assume one either way; the CRJ cabin's functional fit standards (jumpseat, aisle, exits) apply.

Key point: Sterile flight deck (14 CFR 121.542): no non-essential comm with pilots below 10,000 ft or during taxi/takeoff/approach/landing — but a real safety-of-flight emergency always overrides it.
4. Who owns Endeavor and what makes it different from every other regional carrier flying Delta Connection?
Key point: Wholly-owned Delta subsidiary — the only regional Delta actually owns — with standby and service-standard alignment contract regionals don't get; don't cite the Delta Pathway as a current perk, candidates report it discontinued as of late 2025.
